Mimaki USA Ink Cartridge Recycling Program 1/12/2011

Dear Customers;

Mimaki USA is pleased to offer you the Mimaki Ink Cartridge Recycling Program.

Covered cartridges:

All Mimaki empty ink, cleaning, or maintenance cartridges with chip may be returned to Mimaki USA for recycling.

Procedures:

STEP 1: Save the Mimaki protective bags from new Mimaki ink cartridge shipments. The bags can be reused and help prevent inks leaking during shipment to Mimaki USA.

STEP 2: Insert the used Mimaki ink cartridge into the protective bag with the ink outlet and chip facing the sealed end of the bag. Trace amounts of ink will be left in the cartridge. The protective bag contains spills during transportation.

STEP 3: Seal the open end of the cartridge with tape to prevent ink leaks. The protective bags are not mandatory for the Mimaki USA Recycling Program, but are strongly recommended.

STEP 4: Place the sealed Mimaki ink cartridges in a suitable shipping container. Ink types may be freely mixed and matched within the container. Both 220 and 440 ml cartridges may be returned for recycling.

STEP 5: Close and tape the shipping package. Any number of cartridges may be returned to Mimaki USA. We recommend storing quantities of 20 or more empty cartridges before returning them for recycling.

Shipping Information:

Mimaki USA accepts all 220 ml and 440 ml ink cartridges. Eg. HS, Eco HS, SS2, SS21, ES3, All Aqueous Dye Sublimation Inks, and all UV Inks.

Due to shipping regulations, please ship all empty Mimaki Ink cartridges via UPS, Fedex or your preferred provider using ground transportation. This is especially true of empty UV ink cartridges, they must be sent using ground transportation. Customers are responsible for all shipping costs of returned cartridges.
