There are many textile designers and brand makers in Lake Como to the north of Milan, Italy and Alsace region in northeast France, which lead fashion industry in the world.
Mimaki's textile printers spread from these regions and now more than half of total textile printers produced by Mimaki are used in the regions. Mimaki's printers for textile and apparel have acquired firm trust on digital printing from Italian and French fashion industries.
The main reasons are shortening of the production process and profound power of expression. The design and color reproduction that were not expressible by conventional printings can be attained by the digital printing of Mimaki. The printers can print on thin silk like scarves and stretchable materials such as swimming wear with the unique feeding mechanism and can depict designer's imagination precisely.
Now the latest fashion of Italy made by Mimaki's TX and GP series are introduced.
