Mimaki original ink options obtain 3M Performance Guarantee

Includes eco-solvent and UV inks used in popular Mimaki roll-based printers

Suwanee, GA, Dec. 14, 2023 – Mimaki USA, a leading manufacturer of wide-format inkjet printers and cutters, today announced has announced that 3M has approved four Mimaki OEM inks available for JV100-160 and UJV100-160Plus (also UJV100-160) printers for inclusion in 3M’s Performance Guarantee program.

The Mimaki JV100-160 printer is an affordable professional-grade, eco-solvent roll-based model. It is ideal for a wide variety of applications from fine-art reproduction to vehicle wraps.

The Mimaki UJV100-160Plus printer is a competitively priced UV-LED roll-based printer with many productivity features found in higher-end models. This multi-purpose machine is suited for a variety of applications while keeping costs low. It is the successor model of the UJV100-160 printer.

3M Performance Guarantee

The 3M Performance Guarantee[1] gives customers the knowledge that 3M digital graphic films have been put through mechanical and physical tests to ensure they will perform throughout the warranted period, throughout the digital printing process, and for a specified period of time after application, and work with the Mimaki OEM inks listed.

Four Mimaki OEM Inks included

Two Mimaki OEM inks compatible with the JV100-160 eco-solvent printer and two Mimaki OEM inks compatible with the UJV100-160Plus and UJV100-160 UV-curable printers have received the 3M Performance Guarantee. The included inks are:

  • For the JV100-160 printer: SS21 and AS5 eco-solvent inks
  • For the UJV100-160Plus and UJV100-160 printers: LUS-170 and LUS-210 UV inks (LUS-210 inks are available only in select countries – contact Mimaki for more information)
 

The inclusion of this expanded range of Mimaki products in the 3M Performance Guarantee program further reinforces the cooperation between these two world leaders in digital print and provides Mimaki customers with even greater confidence in quality and durability when using products and solutions provided by the two companies.
