Flowery Branch, Georgia, September 17, 2025 — Mimaki Engineering, a leading manufacturer of industrial inkjet printers and cutting plotters, today announced the launch of the TS200-1600, an advanced 64-inch dye sublimation printer designed to deliver professional-grade quality and versatility at an accessible price point. This new addition to Mimaki’s “200 Series” of products is set to make its North American debut at the PRINTING United Expo in Orlando, Florida, from October 22-24 at Mimaki USA booth #1555.
Building on the success of the popular TS100, the TS200-1600 offers significantly faster production speeds and an expanded feature set, making it the ideal solution for small shops, start-ups, and businesses looking to expand into on-demand textile and customized goods production.
Powered by a single print head from Mimaki’s higher-end 330 Series, the TS200-1600 ensures exceptional print quality with smooth gradients and vivid colors. Its extended eight-color ink set includes new Orange and Violet inks for a wider color gamut, as well as newly developed Fluorescent Pink and Yellow inks, perfect for eye-catching applications such as sportswear, promotional items, home décor, and soft signage.
The printer utilizes Mimaki’s OEKO-TEX® ECO-PASSPORT certified Sb411 inks, providing a sustainable and responsible printing solution that meets the stringent environmental standards required by global textile brands and eco-conscious consumers.
“The TS200-1600 makes expanded color gamut, 64-inch output accessible to a new generation of users entering the dye sublimation market,” said Josh Hope, Director of Marketing at Mimaki USA. “With its exceptional image quality and simple operation, this printer offers the complete value of a full Mimaki solution—from the machine itself to the ink, software, and service.”
To maximize uptime and reduce waste, the TS200-1600 features an improved ink supply system with 2-liter degassed ink packs. This innovative design prevents air bubbles and allows operators to easily agitate the ink without removing the packs or slowing down production to ensure consistent, reliable performance. Users can further streamline their workflow with Mimaki’s user-friendly RasterLink7 or optional TxLink5 Lite RIP software, along with PICT, a free cloud-based monitoring tool. As with the other ‘200 Series’ printers, the TS200-1600 has 3-years of service coverage – 1 year of Mimaki Manufacturer’s Warranty, and 2 additional years of Mimaki ‘Parts Plus+’ service coverage for customers in the US and Canada.
With its compact footprint and support for a wide range of polyester fabrics and hard or soft coated substrates, the TS200-1600 is an accessible yet powerful solution for businesses ready to capture new opportunities in the custom goods and on-demand textile markets.
The TS200 Series is expected to be available for sale in October 2025.
